A discreet presence , or the importance of emptiness
The encounter between the universe of Aïdama and the drawings of Matéo Beirao took place around the Japanese aesthetic and philosophical concept of ma .
The word "ma" refers to the space between two objects, an interval that is neither empty nor silent, but carries a subtle beauty.

In clothing, the " ma" evokes the space between the body and the fabric. It is not a simple gap: it is an invisible place where an impalpable energy circulates.
In Aïdama's flowing silhouettes, this space becomes multifaceted and vibrant, shaped by each individual's body shape. The garments thus embody a balance between the body, the fabric, and the immaterial space that connects them.

Clothing creates contours; drawing interprets them.
Matéo Beirao's drawings are created point by point. Through this patient gesture, emptiness becomes as essential as fullness in order to sculpt shadows, lights, and volumes.
The figures he depicts are removed from any context. They wander in a parallel space where organic, natural and manufactured elements mingle, weaving a coherent and sensitive aesthetic.

At the heart of this collaboration, the Haomi coat becomes a refuge.
It adapts to the body, accompanies movement and allows the wearer to cultivate their own relationship to the world, whether urban, natural or imaginary.
