Plongée au cœur du Têt

Dive into the heart of Tet

Vietnamese New Year under the sign of the Wood Snake

I'm so sorry!

At Aïdama, a large part of our approach is based on cultural exploration inspired by the Franco-Vietnamese origins of its creator and his passion for Japan.

This is why we invite you today to discover Tet , the Vietnamese New Year , a time of renewal and celebration.

A time of reunion and symbols.

Tet marks the beginning of the year according to the lunar calendar and an opportunity to gather with loved ones around traditional Vietnamese dishes such as bánh chưng , a stuffed sticky rice cake, canh măng , a bamboo shoot soup, or xôi gấc , a sweet red sticky rice.

Tet customs are numerous: offering red envelopes (lì xì) to young people as good luck charms, honoring ancestors, or cleaning one's house to drive away bad luck and attract prosperity.
Emblematic flowers are also in the spotlight: the cherry blossom in the North of Vietnam and the apricot blossom in the South, symbols of luck, prosperity and renewal.

2025, the year of the Wood Snake

This year honors the Serpent , symbol of wisdom and transformation , associated with Wood , element of growth and creativity .

In short, a year conducive to new beginnings and ambitious projects.

This philosophy of renewal resonates particularly with Aïdama.

2025 will be a pivotal year, punctuated by numerous key projects, such as the overhaul of our collection structure and the launch of accessories.

But always with the same desire to explore and promote the cultural heritage of the creator, by offering contemporary and functional interpretations.

For the occasion, we have prepared a selection of Aïdama wardrobe items that particularly resonate with the event, such as the shirts embroidered with silk threads by hand in Vietnam.

The most seasoned eyes may have even caught a glimpse of a few exclusives: the new washi pants and jackets (a blend of cotton and paper woven in Japan) and the brand's first t-shirt. 👀

These pieces, which you can already find in the studio, will be available online in the coming weeks.

We wish you a year full of creativity and success!

I'm so sorry!
